Course Introduction

MK “Nobby” Director of Shooting Training Solutions is the sole instructor on the Firearms training courses run by Shooting Training Solutions. Mark has some 33 years of Military service in UK Special Forces and the Royal Marines.

His operational service stretches from the Falklands war in 1982, to serving in every major conflict since, including 4 tours of Afghanistan. MK served for 5 years as the chief instructor of the Special Boat Service and 2 years as the senior SBS instructor at 22 SAS.

He will host and take you through your unique Corporate Firearms Package.

Course Details

Your package will be designed for you and your party, no more than 8 individuals to give you an insight into handling firearms in a safe manner. Your instructor will take you through every step to ensure you enjoy the training in a warm and secure environment. You will hear how your instructor took from what he learnt from his peers to running teams of individuals and gelling them together by leading from the front and setting the standards he showed and expected from them.

The course will consist of teaching you the following: 

Safe handling of weapon

Marksmanship principles

Weapon Familiarisation

Weapons Handling

Rifle familiarisation including stripping and assembly

Function tests

Immediate Action drills (stoppage drills)

Shooting from various positions

Accurate and effective target engagement.

Target acquisition

 

You will be taught an extensive range of weapons and fire live on the range using various weapons.
